The company
Company definition
Young Ethical Intelligence, Inc. is a human-development technology and institutional decision-intelligence company developing systems that strengthen human judgment in an age of artificial intelligence.
Mission
Young Ethical Intelligence exists to ensure that as artificial intelligence becomes more capable, human judgment does not become less capable.
Vision
A world in which intelligent technology strengthens cognitive sovereignty, ethical agency, relational intelligence, and responsible leadership.
Founder
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. D. Ivan Young is the originator of Augmented NeuroSynthesis™, Recursive Judgment Science™, and the Recursive Human Systems Model™. His work brings behavioral neuroscience, ethical cognition, emotional intelligence, human judgment, relationship dynamics, and responsible AI into one applied system. Each term is defined in the FAQ.
For more than twenty years he has worked with executives, founders, licensed professionals, healthcare leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and institutions — in the rooms where a decision is actually made, and in the aftermath when it was made badly. That is an unusual vantage point. It is also the reason the frameworks behind URIEL describe judgment as it behaves under pressure rather than as it is taught in calm conditions.
His own experience of cancer survivorship informs the seriousness he brings to consequence and to the limits of certainty. He does not treat that as a credential. It is simply part of why the work is built the way it is.
He is the author of Leading from the Heart, a Forbes Coaches Council member, and a recognised voice on human judgment and leadership under pressure in national media.
Boards keep asking why ethical failures keep happening in organizations full of smart people. The answer is not a lack of intelligence. It is a lack of practiced judgment.
Leadership
Chief Operational Officer
Zee Blackett is Chief Operational Officer of Young Ethical Intelligence, Inc., bringing over 20 years of experience leading complex IT infrastructure programs and global network transformations for organizations including AT&T, Kyndryl, and the National Energy System Operator (NESO).
Across roles as Senior Delivery Manager, Network Transition Lead, Global SD-WAN Lead, Shared Services Manager, Network Service Operations Lead, and Network Implementation Manager, Zee has directed large-scale, mission-critical deployments spanning energy, consumer healthcare, and Big Tech, consistently delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time and at scale within demanding global corporate environments.
Beyond her delivery expertise, Zee is a natural rapport-builder with an uncanny ability to make things happen, known for creating supportive, high-trust environments where high-performance teams thrive. That same people-first instinct now anchors operations at Young Ethical Intelligence, where she translates the company's mission into disciplined execution, scaling URIEL while keeping the human center at the heart of its work.

Strategic advisory
Chief Strategic Medical Advisor
Ambaw Bellete is Chief Strategic Medical Advisor to Young Ethical Intelligence and URIEL. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of CG Oncology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CGON), with responsibility for the commercial organisation, business development, corporate strategy, regulatory affairs, quality, and supply chain. Across more than thirty years in biotechnology he has been Chief Operating Officer of FerGene, President of Photocure Inc., and President of Medical Compression Systems, and he began his career at The Upjohn Company and Sanofi.
He has spent his career bringing oncology therapeutics from pre-launch to commercial reality. He sets the evidentiary standard URIEL is required to meet before it goes near a treatment setting.

Government and institutional
Defense, Government & Institutional Procurement
Anthony Gray, Jr. is a retired United States Air Force officer. He spent his service career inside federal acquisition, and has since led government contracting for a defense technology firm delivering immersive training systems to military customers — carrying programmes through negotiation, pricing, compliance, and post-award performance under FAR and DFARS.
He owns URIEL's pathway into government and allied-nation institutions, and the discipline required to survive procurement review rather than merely reach it.

Growth and partnerships
Sub-Saharan Africa | Business Development Specialist
Originally from Torino, Northern Italy, Vittorio is a Kenya-based international business development professional and former analyst at The Economist. At 26 he survived a stroke and has personal experience of the benefits of AI and the transformative potential of technology that aided his recovery.
A lifelong traveller, he brings previous experience of collaborating with AI-focused startups and a rich global cross-cultural perspective to URIEL's growth and partnerships.
